The IAPSO Early Career Scientist Medals 2025 - Call for nominations
Dear IAPSO National Correspondents, Executive Committee Members and other IAPSO Scientists,
I would like to kindly invite you to consider and send us your nominations for the recipients of the IAPSO Early Career Scientist Medals for the year 2025.
This award honours Early Career Scientists for their outstanding research in the physical sciences of the oceans, and for their cooperation in international research. The IAPSO Early Career Scientist Medals, one for Physical Oceanography and one for Chemical Oceanography, will be presented by the IAPSO President at the IAMAS/IACS/IAPSO Joint Assembly BACO 2025 in Busan, Republic of Korea, where the Awardees will be expected to give a talk on a scientific topic of their choice. Financial assistance to attend the Assembly will be available.
Please find the procedure and requirements for nomination in the IAPSO website (https://iapso-ocean.org/iapso-medals/early-career-scientist-medal.html).
The nomination package should be submitted to the IAPSO Secretary General, MSc. Silvia Blanc, at sg@iapso-ocean.org, by the deadline of 10 January 2025. Late submissions will not be considered.
